Thrive Wellness Retreat Center is situated on a hillside with a spectacular vista of Lake Ihema, near the Akagera National Park. The retreat center features 10 cabins, a large open space dining area, a yoga and meditation room, a spa/massage therapy room and a sauna room. Wood and stone have been skillfully crafted by local artisans into custom rooms and furnishings that give Thrive Wellness Retreat Center a uniquely Rwandan design.
The center is rustic in nature and has been curated to include the distinctive hallmarks of Rwandan style. Each cabin has a private balcony overlooking Lake Ihema and the verdant landscape of Akagera. Each cabin is also outfitted with premium mattresses, custom furnishings and bathrooms stocked with plush robes, slippers, and locally-sourced toiletries. Each room is unique; register early to reserve your preferred room.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Our professional chef has designed a complete nutritional, healthy and delicious menu made from fresh, organically and seasonally sourced ingredients as much as possible. We have a kitchen garden in the property where we harvest most of our herbs and vegetables.

It's only USD $1,500 per person. The cost includes 3 Nights’ accommodation, Daily Yoga, Meditation, Fitness, Massage Therapy, Sauna, Nature Walks, Workshops, Cultural Events and Activities. The cost also includes a shuttle to and from the airport.
The cost does not include flight, travel insurance, alcohol, or an optional visit to the Akagera National Park. We would be happy to arrange this additional activity for you.
